Geaux Parade

While Mardi Gras may be over you can keep carnival going all year long with Geaux Parade, the Mardi Gras parade building card game. Back in episode 223 I spoke with the creator of Geaux Parade and Gentilly Games Michael Combe about how the game was developed. Now that production is complete the game is available on the Gentilly Games website at GentillyGames.com.  There is also a great collectible doubloon with the Geaux Parade and Gentilly Games logos. Be sure to sign up for updates on future games including the soon to be published Pothole!

Two Chicks Walking Tours

Long time listeners are familiar with Two Chicks Walking tours as they’ve been featured guests on the podcast as well as supported our work through sponsorship over the years. What you might not know is that they’ve also caught the attention of major media outlets and brands within the travel space. American Express has highlighted them in a three day itinerary alongside the Roosevelt, Congo Square, Preservation Hall, Dooky Chase and Tipitina’s. Thrillist includes their Garden District Walking tours in a two day itinerary paired with Commander’s Palace – a lovely duo if ever there was one. As we head into the warmer weather, they’ll continue to offer morning and afternoon options but plan to scale back operations a little bit. Private tours will remain an option. https://www.twochickswalkingtours.com/
