Around the Riverbend – Explore the Historic Carrollton Neighborhood of New Orleans
Carrollton – a small town in the heart of the Crescent City
If you were ever thinking about a move to New Orleans, a morning or two on the streets of Carrollton would about do it! The neighborhood has so much to offer. It’s a great spot to take in a bit of history, enjoy the live oak trees, see some unique New Orleans architecture, and enjoy food, shopping and music.
In Carrollton, you’re never far from the rumbling of the streetcar, and you have several shopping destinations to choose from. All have a distinctly main street or small town feel to them, and offer the charm you would expect from New Orleans. Plus, you’re away from the busy-ness of the French Quarter, yet close by, too.
This episode is going to be full of details. Places to eat, drink, things to see and do. Let’s get started on our tour, OK?
